Do you ever find yourself drifting to the past or thinking to the future. Why can't you just stay in the present? Often the present is what our past selves may have wished for, yet still we feel discontent. Our futures may not hold the regrets that we worry about, yet still we feel discontent. You may have noticed that I first look at animalistic characteristics that humans hold. We need purpose, those to fail to have purpose, fail to have life, and we need to feel a sense of community. We are very social animals, or at least I think we are meant to be, even when it is hard for us.
After those needs are met, after all needs are met, are we able to belong to all that we have worked for? Can we enjoy the present? Do we always need to be turning our head?
